This season, LCA Athletics is inviting students, families, and supporters to quite literally band together in a meaningful way. The LIONS Band initiative is a fundraiser designed to support athletic programs while also reinforcing the heart of what it means to be a LION. These silicone wristbands aren’t just accessories—they carry with them the powerful LIONS identity statements that students recite and live out each day. Each band serves as a daily reminder of these truths: Loved by the Father: Sinful and flawed but known and accepted. Invited by Jesus: Welcomed and wanted as His friend. On Mission: Placed here for a purpose and will let my light shine wherever I go. Not Alone: Near to God and never forgotten, He is with me in every moment. Standing on Grace: My past is forgiven, my future is secure. Jesus has done for me what I could never do for myself. LCA hopes these bands will unify the LCA community—not just in supporting teams financially, but in strengthening the shared mission of developing Christ-centered student-athletes. Every time someone looks at their wrist, we want them to be reminded of who they are. This is bigger than sports—it’s about identity in Christ. Funds raised from the LIONS Bands will go directly toward supporting athletic needs such as equipment, facilities, transportation, and coaching resources—ensuring that every student has the opportunity to participate and grow.
