The Lighthouse Lions turned in an outstanding performance on April 28, delivering a meet full of personal bests and competitive finishes across both the boys and girls teams. Leading the way for the boys in the 800m, Caden Stewart captured a first-place finish with a strong time of 2:04.76. Asher Weeks followed with a solid third-place effort (2:21.65), while Corban Jackson added depth with a seventh-place finish (2:26.90). Jackson returned in the 1600m to earn a third-place finish, crossing in 5:30.69 and showcasing his endurance on the day. On the girls side, Audrey Eason competed well in the 400m, placing fifth with a time of 1:12.46. The 800m saw a strong group effort, led by Linnea Connell’s third-place finish (2:53.43) and Naomi Connell close behind in fourth (2:55.01). Eason doubled back to take sixth (3:09.90), while Lydia Farnam rounded out the group in seventh (3:12.40). In the 1600m, Abrielle Weeks earned an impressive second-place finish with a time of 6:22.03. Farnam added another top performance with a third-place finish (6:58.86), and Emma Roadruck competed hard to place fourth (7:52.30). The meet was highlighted by numerous personal records and a strong team effort from start to finish. A message from Coach Potter: “Wow, PRs across the board! Everyone competed so, so well today!
