The Middle School Tennis team competed at Bedford on Saturday and showed clear growth across the board, with every player demonstrating improvement. Highlighting the day, Eden Key and Cordelia Gilliam each earned wins in their singles matches, then teamed up for doubles and secured another victory—finishing the day undefeated. This marks a first for the program and reflects their strong play and teamwork. Another standout performance came from Bennett Thickstun, who showed tremendous progress. Just three weeks ago against the same Bedford opponent, Bennett fell 0–8. This time, she jumped out to a 4–1 lead before narrowly losing 6–8. Her ability to sustain long rallies and consistently keep the ball in play was a major step forward. The team will continue building on this momentum as they host an inter-squad tournament beginning Monday after school.
