The Lions put together their strongest performance of the season last night, posting a season-best team score of 217. Despite the impressive outing, we came up just short, falling by three strokes to Mooresville Christian. There were some standout individual performances that fueled the team’s success. Landon turned in a tremendous round, shooting a 51—his personal best this season by a wide margin. Anthony also had a great night on the course, recording his season best with a 55. Great work by both of them! While we’re proud of how the team competed and the progress we’re making, what stood out most was each player’s mindset. Every golfer challenged himself and recognized opportunities to improve, identifying a few strokes in their round that could have made the difference. That awareness and drive to get better is exactly what we’re looking for. We’re excited about the direction this team is heading and look forward to continuing to build on this momentum.
