Lighthouse Christian Academy recently celebrated the achievements of its student-athletes at the Spring Sports Awards Banquet. The event, held in the school's gymnasium, brought together players, coaches, families, and faculty to honor the hard work and dedication of the school's spring sports teams. The banquet featured a wonderful Ice Cream Sundae buffet with Ice Cream from Jiffy Treat of Bedford IN, followed by the presentation of awards recognizing outstanding performances in Boys Varsity Golf, Middle School and Varsity Track and Field, and Club Middle & High School Tennis. Coaches took time to highlight the dedication and perseverance of their athletes throughout the season, sharing inspiring stories of teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth. Several athletes received individual awards for excellence in their respective sports, including Most Valuable Player, Most Improved, Coaches Choice and the Lions Pride Awards. “This banquet is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their achievements and show them how proud we are. As our Track & Field athletes take to the IHSAA Sectionals this week we took tonight to celebrate the season.”-LeeAnna Powell, Athletic Director The evening concluded with a heartfelt prayer of appreciation to God by Dr Mosley emphasizing the values of commitment, discipline, and faith that Lighthouse Christian Academy strives to instill in its students. As another successful Spring Sports Season comes to a close, Lighthouse Christian Academy looks forward to continued growth in its athletic program and the bright future ahead for its student-athletes.
